About the Role
Push the boundaries of machine learning research at 1.ML. Work on novel algorithms in deep learning, NLP, and multimodal AI that will shape the future of the field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in machine learning
- Publish papers at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Develop novel algorithms and architectures
- Collaborate with engineering to productionize research
- Stay current with latest ML research and trends
- Present findings to internal and external audiences
Requirements
- PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong publication record at top ML venues
- Deep expertise in at least one area (NLP, CV, RL, etc.)
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with large language models
- Industry research experience
- Experience mentoring junior researchers
- Open source contributions
